FAQ…
What services do you offer?
ACS provides individual and couples therapy for adults navigating emotional, relational, and life-related concerns. We support clients experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and a desire for greater clarity and balance.
What can I expect during the first session?
Your initial intake session is a space to share your concerns, history, and goals for therapy. We will explore what brings you in, identify patterns, and begin outlining a plan that aligns with your needs. This session also allows you to determine if the therapeutic fit feels right.
What are your fees?
Individual Therapy
Initial Intake Session: $145
Ongoing Sessions: $125
Couples Therapy
Initial Intake Session: $160
Ongoing Sessions: $125
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. ACS accepts most major insurance plans. Copays and any out-of-pocket costs are due at the time of service. If you have specific questions about coverage, we encourage you to verify benefits with your provider or contact us for guidance.
How long are sessions?
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. Extended sessions may be available when clinically appropriate.
How often will I attend therapy?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Frequency may adjust over time based on your goals, progress, and clinical needs.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is a priority. All sessions are confidential, with the exception of legal and ethical limits (such as risk of harm to yourself or others, or court orders). These will be reviewed with you during your first session.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. ACS offers secure telehealth sessions for clients who prefer or require remote access to care.
How do I get started?
You can begin by submitting a contact request through our website or reaching out directly. Once we connect, we will guide you through scheduling your first appointment and completing intake paperwork.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready to think more clearly and move with intention, therapy can be a valuable space. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin.
What is your approach to therapy?
Our work is collaborative, intentional, and grounded in evidence-based practices. We focus on helping you increase awareness, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward meaningful change in your life and relationships.
